BIO

I’m a transplanted Canadian who somehow survived a very confusing adolescence as the lone female Star Trek fan in middle school, then fell in love with Manhattan about 10 minutes after my arrival at NYU. After many years as a television producer, where networks like MTV had me producing everything from musician interviews in dive bars all over the East Village to game shows in Malaysia, I made the switch to digital, overseeing websites at Fuse and A&E. Now I’m a freelance writer who does researched articles, original interviews, personal essays, listicles, event coverage, trending news, and much more. I also still write and produce for TV, and I’m a contributing writer on several books.

I’ve been a writer, editor, copy editor, and social media strategist for TrekMovie.com since 2016, where I co-host the All Access Star Trek podcast. This year, I joined the TrekTalks team to help produce a marathon livestream of Star Trek panels to raise money for the Hollywood Food Coalition. I also moderated one of the panels:

I’m also a co-founder of Read It All Up®, a media company focused on kids’ literacy.
